Venues
Castles, palaces and historic Italian residences chosen one by one for weddings and luxury events: real, verified venues, with a tailored proposal on request.
What sets a real event venue apart from a generic one
A verified luxury event venue, a castle with centuries of history or an aristocratic villa still lived in by the same family, offers something a generic event hall can't replicate: an authentic setting, often already the backdrop to other notable events, and an in-house team that knows every logistical detail of the property, down to where the power lines run and how many guests each space can really hold. It's always worth asking for references from past events, not just polished photographs.
How far in advance to book a prestigious venue
The most sought-after venues, especially for high-season weekends between May and September for weddings, are often booked 12 to 18 months in advance: waiting too long usually means choosing between less popular dates, weekdays or low season, or giving up on the preferred venue altogether. For couples with flexibility on the date, booking off-season often means access to venues that would otherwise already be taken, at more favorable rates.
An often overlooked detail: permits and insurance
A serious quote for an event at a historic venue always includes the cost of permits, security, and liability insurance: the better-organized venues undergo periodic suitability checks, and insurance companies ask in advance for the date, venue, guest count and estimated budget to work out the policy. It's an aspect that's often underestimated at the initial quote stage, but it can have a real impact on the total cost if it's not factored in from the start.
